2024 T351 T651 T851 cold drawn aluminum round bar is a kind of high -strength hard aluminum,which can be heat-treated and strengthened.It has medium plasticity in quenching state.Spot welding is good.There is a tendency to form intergranular cracks during gas welding,the alloy can have good cutting performance after quenching and cold haardening.The machinability is poor and the corrosion resistance is not high after annealing.The anodizing treatment and painting method or the surface of the aluminum layer is often used to improve the corrosion resistance. 2024 T351 T651 T851 cold drawn aluminum round bar is mainly used to make a variety of high load parts and components such as the skeleton parts on the airplane,skins,partitions,ribs,spars etc.
