2524 aluminum bar rod

2524 aluminum alloy is developed by reducing the impurity content on the basis of 2024 aluminum alloy. It has the advantages of excellent fracture toughness, fatigue resistance and stress corrosion resistance. 2524 aluminum alloy was successfully developed in 1995. The alloy is a new aircraft skin material, which is widely used in aircraft manufacturing. Henan Chalco can produce this aluminum alloy, including 2524 aluminum bar rod, 2524 aluminum alloy plate, 2524 aluminum alloy coil, etc.



The suitable homogenization treatment process for 2524 aluminum bar rod is as follows:
1. Heat preservation for 8h at 420 ℃ for low temperature pretreatment, and then heat preservation for 16h at 490 ℃ for homogenization.
2. The dendrite structure of the alloy ingot after two-stage homogenization treatment is obviously eliminated, and the pretreatment is beneficial to al_ Precipitation of 3 (SC, Zr) particles.
3，The suitable solution treatment process for 2524 aluminum bar rod is: holding at 498 ℃ for 20min and water quenching. After solution treatment by this process, the alloy plate is naturally aged for more than 96 hours to achieve the ideal combination of comprehensive mechanical properties (longitudinal): the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation reach 464 MPa, 303 MPa and 25% respectively.
4. The grain of 2524 + (SC + Zr) alloy plate in T4 state is approximately equiaxed, and there is no obvious anisotropy in macro mechanical properties.
Tensile mechanical properties of alloy in transverse direction: σ_ b=457MPa、 σ_( 0.2)=303MPa、 δ= 26%, reaching the expected goal of the research design. When the cycle base number is 10 ~ 7, the fatigue strength is 194mpa.
